Since taking over in 2005, Caroline has built up the pub, making it the centre of the village. There's something on the menu to suit everyone, the atmosphere is welcoming to both couples wanting to sit by the open fire or families wanting to enjoy the huge garden with their dog. The many different nights are always popular, such as the monthly quiz night which is always sold out and the open mic night which is attracting more and more talent every time
The Longs Arms is ideally situated between Bath and Salisbury making it and ideal place to stop of for a drink or food, and an excellent place to stay. Longleat Safari Park is only a 20 minute drive away and the great wonder Stonehenge is 25 minutes in the other direction. Salisbury Plain, a beautiful and fantastic area for walking is just 5 minutes by car. But if you fancy a bit more hustle and bustle, Bath is a 30 minute drive.
